What it is
Rust Wipe Calendar is a free site for Rust players. Wipe days decide when a server is worth joining, but the information is spread across server lists, Discord channels, and descriptions that are often out of date. This site gathers it in one place, keeps it fresh, and shows every time in your own zone.
You can browse recent wipes, see them on a calendar, search thousands of servers, and save the ones you play on without creating an account. If you are new to wipes, start with the guide.
Where the data comes from
- Steam provides the list of Rust servers, with their names, player counts, and tags. We read it about once a minute.
- Game servers answer direct questions about themselves, including the description their owner wrote.
- Facepunch publishes the list of servers that the game shows as official.
- DB-IP provides the country of a server's address, which fills in the region when a server does not state one.
We collect information about servers. We do not collect anything about individual players.
How we keep it honest
A wipe calendar is only useful if you can trust it, so the site separates what is known from what is only claimed:
- A wipe is confirmed only when the server itself reports a new map.
- A wipe's kind stays unknown when there is no evidence for it. We never show an unknown wipe as a map wipe.
- What an owner says about schedules, rates, or team limits is marked as the owner's word.
- A region we worked out ourselves is shown as "Likely".
- The age of the data is on the live pages, and they say so if collection falls behind.
Server names and descriptions
Server names and descriptions are written by server owners, not by us. We show them so you can recognise a server, but we do not check or endorse them, and links in descriptions are not clickable because nobody has checked where they go. If you see something offensive or illegal, please tell us.
Who runs it
This is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Facepunch Studios, and Rust is a trademark of Facepunch Studios. The site is free to use, and advertising helps pay for it. How that works is explained in the privacy policy.
